Susan Shepherd, 56 of Dwight, IL, passed away on October 9, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. A visitation will be held from 10:00am - 12:00pm on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00pm. Burial will follow the services at Round Grove Cemetery in Reddick, IL. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is handling all arrangements. Susan was born on September 14, 1963 in Pontiac, IL to Truman and Anna (Devault) Johnson. She is survived by her sons; Justin Shepherd of Spring Hill, Tenn, Eric (Megan) Shepherd of Macomb, IL; brother, Tom (Deb) Johnson of Gardner; sisters, Connie Oeschlager of Dwight, Donna (Joe) Lopez of Bourbonnais, IL, Joyce Johnson of Dwight; grandchildren Zoey Russell, Maci Shepherd, Wrigley Shepherd; loving caregiver, Melissa Vega. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Walter Johnson; brother-in-law, Fred Oelschlager. She graduated from RUCE (Reddick, Union Hill, Campus and Essex) High School and worked for Coils in Dwight and Deltar in Frankfort, IL. She enjoyed her TV programs and loved her Sherbet and Dr. Pepper. She also loved spending time with friends and family, especially her sons and her granddaughters.
