It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecile Rich announce her passing on Oct 10, 2019, at the Health Sciences Center, St. John’s, NL at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Agatha Rich, Christina Poker, Nympha Byrne, Judith Rich, Andre Rich, Aldea Piwas, Ben Rich, Gary Rich: 36 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister: Philomene Katshinak, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Sylvester and Mary Jane Rich; husband Tommy Rich; sister; Madeline Katshinak, brothers: Raphael (Nesukutshash) Rich, J.B. (Anatusk) Rich. Visitation will be at Fillatres Funeral Home on October 12, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on October 14, 2019 from St. Anne Tshukominu Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish.
