Willie Blanton Jr. was born May 26, 1960 in Laurel County and departed this life Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, being 59 years of age. He was the son of the late Willie Blanton Sr. and Elizabeth Carpenter Blanton. Willie is survived by his companion Karen Spenece of McKee five children, Jeremiah Blanton of McKee, Billy Sherman Blanton of Annville, Christal (Herbie) Carpenter of Annville and Melinda Bentley of London and Brandon Blanton of Annville. He is also survived by four siblings, Billy Ray (Mildred) Blanton of McKee, Freddie (Steve) Blanton of Manchester, Linda (Burnis Ray) Gabbard and Beverly Jo Blanton. Willie was blessed with ten grandchildren He was proceeded in death by his mother and father and also by an infant granddaughter Cheyenne Blanton. Funeral service 2:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in the Seven Pines Cemetery.
