Michael Stefanic, 55, passed away early on Thursday morning October 10, 2019 at home while surrounded by his loving family. Michael was a State Employee with the Motor Vehicle Administration in Paterson, NJ. Michael loved deep sea fishing with his friends and spending time with his loving family especially his granddaughter. He especially loved his dogs Brandi and Laci. Michael also spent time helping others with auto repairs, home improvements and other handy tasks. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward M. Stefanic, Sr. and Rebecca Stefanic (Coughlin). He is survived by his wife Michele, daughters Jessica, Nicole and Samantha, granddaughter Liberty, brothers Timothy and Edward, Jr., and sister-in-law Judy Strydio. Visitation will be held Saturday October 12th at M. John Scanlan Funeral Home from 11-4pm. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to Make a Wish Foundation woud be greatly appreciated.
