Józef Pudlo , 69, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Danuta (Osóbka) Pudlo, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Kwidzyn, Poland on March 1, 1950. He graduated trade school as a mechanical engineer. He later served in the Polish Army. He emigrated to the United States in December 27, 1997 where he raised his family and was a long time resident of Windsor Locks. Jozef was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed travel, and tending his garden. He was also a devoted communicant of St Cyril & Methodius Church where he served as deacon for many years. In addition to his loving wife Danuta, Józef is survived by his children, Aneta Patterson and her significant other, Dan DeSalle of Suffield, and Justyna Godden and her husband Michael of Windsor Locks; his grandchildren, Quinn O’Brien Patterson, Anthony Józef Godden, and Cassidy Ann Godden; his younger brother, Zygmunt “Zygy” Pudlo and his wife Bozena; his nephews, Michael and Marcin and his nieces, Katarzyna and Ewa. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Windsor Locks Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
