Mildred Holland Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Ann Holland, 82, of Crowder, MS passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Holland was born on June 20, 1937 in Charleston, MS to the late Mildred Darby Pund and Clarence Pund. She retired from Wal-Mart Garden Center and was an active member of Crowder Baptist Church. She served as a pollworker during elections and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved dearly by each of her many children who knew her as "Bebaw," and she will truly be missed by each of them. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Patricia Bean (Claude) of Baker, FL, Kay Burnette (David) of Memphis, TN, and Jennifer Williams (David) of Nesbit, MS; one son, Robert Earl Holland, Jr. of Crowder, MS; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert Earl Holland, Sr. and her parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 2 pm in Crowder Baptist Church with Bro. Harvey Sewell officiating. Interment will follow in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the church on Saturday from 12:30 pm - 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crowder Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Dickins Funeral Home.
