Constance Maxine Ware, 58, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.  Constance was born on October 5, 1961 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Roy Green and Frances (Taylor) Ware.  Constance accepted Christ at an early age. Constance was affectionately called “Maxine” by her family and friends. Maxine was a lifelong resident of Decatur, Illinois. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1980. She worked worked for the State of Illinois as a food service director and maintenance supervisor.  Constance was a member of Main Street Church under the leadership Overseer Dr. Thomas E. Walker. Constance was a good spirited person who lived a simplistic life. She truly loved the Lord as well as her family. She went above and beyond by helping those in need.  She leaves to cherish her loving memories: he fiancé Joe Jerry Reed of Decatur; children: Elder Michael Ware, Tamisha (DanTwan) Green-Tyus and Johnnie (Sasha) Green all of Decatur; grandchildren, Jamisha Crenshaw, Ni’Asia Johnson, Jeriya Enoch; siblings: Brenda Ware, Margurite Ware, Maggie Reed all of Decatur, Paul S. (Brenda)  Ware of Mesa, AZ, Rev. George Mitchell (Dez) Ware of Milwaukee, WI, Judy (I.W.) Peoples of Prince George, VA, special nephew, Jimmie Greene of Mt. Vernon, IL, special friends; Linda Dickerson, Teresa Snow, Leatrice Jones, Goddaughter; Ebony Woodland, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: L.V. “Peter” Green, Sonny Green and Joan Chin.
