Enrique Lemus, 62 of Mendota passed away October 7, 2019 in OSF St. Francis Peoria. Mass of Christian Burial was October 11, 2019 at 10:30am in Holy Cross Church. Rev. Peter Pilon officiated. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation was 4-7pm in Schwarz Funeral Home on October 10, 2019. Enrique was born September 27, 1957 in Cusaco Jalisco Mexico to Guadalupe and Aurora (Orozco) Lemus. He married Maria de Rosario Lemus on November 5, 2013. During his work career he was a Welder with Motor Wheel until their closing, then H.C.C. Enrique is survived by his wife: Maria of Mendota; two sons: Oscar (Jessie) Lemus of Mendota and Guadalupe (Breann Garza) Lemus of Mendota; one daughter: Renee Lemus of LaSalle; 3 grandchildren: Micheal Lemus, Ruby Lemus, and Reyden Lemus; 3 brothers: Manuel Lemus of Mendota, Hector Lemus of Mendota, and Luis (Maria de Jesus) Lemus of Los Angeles, Ca.; 3 sisters: Luz Lemus of Mendota, Onecima Lemus of Mexico and Estela Lemus of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his son: Enrique Lemus Jr. 11/16/2007; brother: Juan Francisco Lemus, and his parents. Memorials may be directed to The Family.
