Patricia Lane Hawkins

Patricia Lane Hawkins was born on October 31, 1944 to the late James H. and Margaret T. Cannady in Anawalt, WV. She was a graduate of Gary High School. She departed this life November 12, 2015 under the care of Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL. She was employed by the state of New York for 20+ years for the banking system. During that time she met her love of 50 years, V. Leon White. She enjoyed cooking, decorating and traveling. She believed that you only get one life and should enjoy it while you can. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elder Sharon Ross of WV and daughter Deaconess Regina S. Bell of Richmond, VA. During the later years of her life she was in the loving and devoted care of the state of Florida Dialysis facilities. Her family would like to thank you so much for all you have done for her over the years. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband V. Leon White of Port St. Lucie, FL, son Charles Ronnie Hawkins of Tampa, FL, step-daughter Lisa White of Mobile, Ala; three beloved sisters, Carolyn Gray (Joey) of NC, Margaret A. Canady of Bluefield, WV, and Greta Riley (Kenney) of Washington; two granddaughters Mia L. Bell of Lynchburg, VA and Alesia R. Bell of Richmond, VA; son in law Marco Bell (Janet) of Richmond, VA; devoted lifelong friends Gerri Griggs of Brooklyn, NY and Miss Ruthie of Port St. Lucie, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and loving family members. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to All County Funeral Home & Crematory in Stuart, FL.
