Rev. Curtis Clifford Petitt, 77 of Madisonville, passed away at his daughter's home Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Born July 31, 1938, to the late John and Elar Parker Petitt.
Also preceded in death by his wife, Merona Dickerson Petitt; three sisters; and five brothers.
Rev. Petitt is survived by four daughters, Mildred Bennett of Ilsley, Judy (Steve) Arnett of Clarksville, TN, Rita Miller of Madisonville, and Debra (Steve) Gerber of Evansville, IN; two sons, Tony (Dorothy) Petitt of Louisville, and Travie (Jamie) Knight of Madisonville; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy Joe Petitt of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Bandy Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, at 12noon with Brothers Darrel Dukes and Ronnie Laffoon officiating. Burial will follow in Union Temple Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will be on Friday from 5pm - 8pm and Saturday after 10am at the funeral home.
