Florence Stamper, 73, passed away Thursday, December 10, at her residence. She was a member of the Morris Fork Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of the late Asberry Stamper and the daughter of the late Harvey and Leatha Mosley Smith. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Stamper; one grandson, Christopher Elam; four brothers, Frank, Mark Allen, David, Daniel Smith; four sisters, Grace Smith, Mavis Turner, Dorothy Turner, Della Smith. She is survived by two sons, Asberry(Jaydine) Stamper, Kenneth(Pam) Stamper; one daughter, Marie(Boyd) Elam; one daughter-in-law, Melinda Stamper; three brothers, Billy Ray(Kathleen) Smith, Robert(Leila) Smith, J.H. Smith; two sisters, Mary Lambert, Gayle(Fred) Deaton; eleven grandchildren, Jason(Tonya) Elam, Kevin(Kristen) Stamper, Karissa Stamper, Kyle Stamper, James Stamper, Heather(Shane) Stamper, Bobby Stamper, Amanda(Jay) Stamper, Dalton Stamper, Ashley Abner, Josh Combs; four great grandchildren, Jaedyn Napier, Kristalyn Elam, Kimberly Elam, Bradley Abner.
