Mother Annie P. Williams was born in Putnam County to late Will Rainey and Sally Childs; she was raised by Clara Jeffries. She was well known throughout the community and well respected as an African American Woman. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and caring mother; a homemaker and worked tirelessly along side her husband L.Z. Williams, Jr. She was married to the late L.Z. Williams; for 65yrs. The mother of five children; two preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories; three loving children, Jimmie, Charlie Sr, and Shirley; three daughter-in-laws; Elizabeth, Sarah, and Claudette; a son-in-law Michael, adopted daughter Donna Chestnut, close friend John Dent,, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, two sisters, Arlene one brother Leroy Rainey, a multitude of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
