Louis George Caille, Jr., 82, of Vallonia, died January 25, 2015 at 3:37 a.m. at Meadow View Health and Rehab in Salem, IN. He served 20 years in the US Army and was apart of the Korean & Vietnam Wars. He attended Driftwood Christian Church. After his service in the military, he operated a Gun & Bicycle Shop and then was owner of a tree trimming service in Colorado. He was a member of the VFW Post 3917 in Security, Colorado and the Masonic Lodge of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Caille was born on December 17, 1932 in Albany, NY to the late Louis G. Caille and Margaret Boufford Caille. He married Joan Merritt in April of 1953 and she passed away on May 21, 2003. He then married Sharon Jamison Butler on May 3, 2005 in Keystone Heights, FL and she survives in Vallonia, IN. Other survivors include 3 children, Brenda (Richard) Summerlin of Boulder, Montana, Barry Caille & Robert Caille both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 1 brother, William Caille of Green Cove Springs, FL; a sister Joyce Williams of Dansville, NY; 13 Grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, first wife, a brother, David Caille, and 2 children, Brad Caille & Belinda (Andrew) Aragon. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Driftwood Christian Church in Vallonia at 2pm.
