Phillip Charles Phil Westmoreland, 30, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Phil was born September 18, 1985 in Houston, to parents; Michael and Kathy Vrana Westmoreland, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School, a repairman at Dovetail Antiques, and a Cub Scout leader. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar, and gardening. Mr. Westmoreland is survived by his wife of 13 years: Jessica Yeomans Westmoreland of Dayton, sons: Zachary Ryan Westmoreland of Dayton, Gary Wayne Westmoreland of Dayton, parents: Michael and Kathy Vrana Westmoreland of Dayton, sister: Katie Westmoreland of Galveston, grandparents: Ernest and Mary Vrana of Dayton and Norbert and Ann Westmoreland of Dayton, numerous other relatives, and friends.
