Ramsey, Albert Jackson, Michigan His Legacy… Albert Douglas Ramsey, Age 76, passed away October 1, 2019. He was born on June 13, 1943, in Baxter, Tennessee to Vestel and Alta (Lewis) Ramsey. Albert married the love of his life, Grace Crisp in 1986 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Albert worked for General Motors Hydra-Matic plant where he retired from after 30 years. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and was a member of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association traveling to different locations for horseshoe matches. Albert loved to visit casinos and playing the slot machines as well as smoking a good cigar. He will missed by all who knew and loved him. His Family… Albert will be missed by his wife Grace, his children, son Kelly (Karen) Ramsey, daughters Karen (Lamont) Kiester, Jocelyn Carr and Alesia (Richard) Deboer, four grandchildren, Austin (Kaitlyn), Robert (Karisa), Shelbie and Tira, seven great-grandchildren and a brother Odis (Joanne) Ramsey. He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Christalyn Ramsey and a sister Helen Simmons. His Farewell… Albert’s family and friends will gather Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel in Brooklyn where his Farewell will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends will gather from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Assoiciation.
