Henry Coker III

Henry Max Ben Coker III, a resident of Geraldine Alabama went home to be with God Monday September 23rd 2019 after fighting a hard battle with mental illness. Ben was born in November of 1992 in Gadsden Alabama. He was an honor roll student and played football, basketball, and baseball. Ben was also a talented singer and actor and received scholarships to Northwest Shoals Community College, Calhoun Community College, and The University of North Alabama. Ben loved his family above all other things. He treasured his relationships and spent much of the last few years making sure we all knew how precious we were to him. He was a brave and passionate individual whose suffering was exceeded only by his determination to live a full life. Ben is survived by his wife Kristen Glover-Coker, his sister Terri-Beth Goodman, his mother Deborah Brown, his father Henry Max Coker Jr., his grandparents Gene and Eloise Brown, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday, September 28, 2019 from the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church ( 11610 Hwy 81 Russleville, AL 35654.) A Graveside service will be held at 5pm on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from the Liberty First Congretional Methodist Church Cemetery (7774 County Road 52 Dawson, AL 35963.)
