Jim passed away on September 16, 2019 at his home in High River at the age of 87 years. Jim was predeceased by his wife Denise in 2008. Jim is survived by his sons Larry (Linda), Don (Carol) and his daughter Shelly; his 11 grandchildren Jolene (Mike), Jamie, Aaron, Devon, Kyle, Kaylyn, Rob (Leanne), Corey, Brooke, Griffin and Shayla, along with his 5 great-grandchildren. Jim worked 40+ years in the trucking industry. He also enjoyed his time in the garage, which is where you would find him most days. If you couldn’t find him in the garage he would be with his family, who he loved dearly. Jim will be missed by all who know him. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at Snodgrass Funeral Home in High River. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
