Lois E. Williams

Mrs. Lois Evelyn Williams, 87, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Williams was born April 6, 1932, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Neal and Mary Ethel Anderson Williams. She was employed many years as a seamstress, was Baptist by faith, enjoyed crocheting and sewing, and was a very good cook. Mrs. Williams was an independent woman and had strived hard to maintain her independence. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Dianna Gail and Donald Hatcher of Hogansville; grandchildren, Terri and Todd Bohn of LaGrange, Teresa and Stephen Ward, Kevin and Jill Stokes, all of Newnan; great-grandchildren, Nikki and Brian Cox, Danielle and Devin White, John Todd Bohn, Abigail Ward, Chapman Ward, Lynleigh Bohn, Bailey Billiterri, Connor Costley, Parker Stokes, Presley Stokes; and great-grandchildren, Landry Cox, Beau Cox, Darcie White, Evelyn Cox, Maverick Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Henry Williams; three sisters; and four brothers. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Stephen Ward will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
