Marvin Noel

For God’s own purpose, Marvin Noel was born to Velma B. Armant and Clarence S. Noel on September 7, 1961. He was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Lucien R. Garret. He joined Bethel Baptist Church in Mansfield, TX under the leadership of Dr. Michael A. Evans Sr. On Thursday, September 5, 2019, Marvin slipped away peacefully at his residence in Mansfield, TX. Marvin was a faithful church goer. He attended bible study, and Sunday school religiously. He was helpful throughout the community, always lending a helping hand. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister; Tina Noel, two nieces; Colbi and Charie Branch. His adopted mother Margaret Dumas. His godchild Rashad Harry, a devoted aunt Audrelle Lewis, Lillian Harris, Emma Lee Noel, and Percy Noel. Lorenza(Damon)Wright, Rose Dorsey, Deborah(Lester)Harry, Warren(Marsha) Armant, and Lolita Armant, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Vacherie, 1244 Magnolia Heights St, Vacherie, LA. Pastor Dr. Johnnie B. Magee, Jr., officiant. Visitation 9:00am followed by service at 11:00am. Interment First Baptist Church Cemetery, Church St., Vacherie, LA.
