Mildred Marie Trujillo (Martinez)

Mildred Marie (Martinez) Trujillo came into this world on May 7, 1944, in Del Norte, Colorado. She passed away at her home in Arvada, Colorado on September 12, 2019. She is survived by her children, Rick and Valerie Trujillo, Yvette Trujillo, Yvonne Trujillo, Arlo Trujillo and Sarah Mitchell, and Nicole and Nic Dierks; and her beloved grandchildren Amanda and Joe Lacey, Logan Trujillo, Ricky Trujillo, and Evan Dierks. She also leaves behind her siblings Della Spradlin and Diana Pacheco, as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She is preceded in death by her cherished husband Richard Trujillo; her parents, Jose and Ciria Martinez; and siblings Helen Noyes, Juan Martinez, and Roseanna Pacheco. Mildred leaves a legacy of kindness and enduring love for family. She had a warm and gentle spirit and embraced everyone who came into her life with a generosity of love and thoughtfulness. She enjoyed people and had many loyal customers throughout the years that she worked at both Kaiser Permanente and Kmart pharmacies. Mildred’s devotion to her faith throughout her life was to be admired, as was her dedication to her church. She also enjoyed music of all genres and throughout all time periods, and she loved flowers and spending time in her garden. The following events will be held at Spirit of Christ in Arvada: Viewing Thursday, September 19th, 2019, at 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m.; and a Funeral Service Friday, September 20th, 2019, at 11 a.m.
