Roger D. Russell
<p>Roger D. Russell, 71, of West Pittsburg, passed away the morning of September 12, 2019 at his residence.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on September 26, 1947 in Stockdale, Ohio he was the son of the late Ernie and Mildred Pyle Russell.</p><p><br></p><p>On March 3, 1977 Roger married his beloved wife, the former Mary Jane Fyffe and she survives at home.</p><p><br></p><p>Roger was a retired truck driver from P-N-M Trucking. He had also worked for Pennsylvania Engineering. </p><p><br></p><p>He was a member of the Croation Club #522 and Mahoning Sportsman Club. His greatest joy was time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by his children, Douglas Russell and his wife Heather of Bessemer, Pa., Roger Russell, Lynn Russell, Donna Jordan and her husband Scott all of Lucasville, Ohio, Mary Ann Tackett of Sunbury, Ohio, Michele Richards and her husband Rick of Waverly, Ohio, his sister, Carolyn Royster of Portsmouth, Ohio, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Honoring his wishes there is no visitation and the service is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
