JOHNSON, FRANCES R. of Waterford; September 13, 2019; age 93; Beloved wife of the late Edward; Loving mother of Kathleen (Ivan) Kobosh, Gregory (Wendy) Johnson and Carl Radford Johnson (Tyler Bornheimer); Cherished grandmother of Joshua Kobosh, James Edward Johnson, Matthew Robert Johnson and the late Samuel Kobosh. Great-grandmother of Camden, Jay, Nathaniel, Luke and Maxwell Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was an Art Teacher and Counselor at Milford High School for 25 years. She became a pilot and enjoyed flying their Tripacer airplane. She was an avid bowler and won the national bowling title in Las Vegas for the over 70’s division in 2004. She was an artistic photographer and won many prizes for her photographs. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Huron Valley Center for the Arts, and the VFAA in Milford. From the beginning of their marriage, Frances assisted her husband with his puppetry business, Ed Johnson's Marrionettes, including things such as sewing the costumes, recording female voices. They enjoyed several years on TV in the 50s and in school assemblies in 5 states until 1984. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Highland Baptist Church, 1116 South Hickory Ridge Road, Milford. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday 1:00 p.m. until time of service.June 24, 1926 - September 13, 201906/24/192609/13/2019
