Thomas J. Conroy of Mt. Olive, NJ passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 90
Tommy was born and raised in East Orange, NJ and lived in the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville for 20 years before moving to Mt. Olive 21 years ago.
He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a Captain on the East Orange Fire Department for 29 years before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #376 in West Orange and the American Legion Post #390 in Denville, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marilyn (Roberts) Conroy of Mt.Olive, NJ. Also survived by his loving daughters Joyce and her husband Douglas of Rockaway, Beverly and her husband Randy Esposito of Mt. Olive, and Patricia and her husband Daniel Gallagher of Rockaway, NJ.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren Douglas, Randy and Stacey Brookes (Dimick), Thomas and Tammi Esposito (Kay), Shauna (Manghelli), Kelly (Pratko), Ryan and Emily Gallagher. He was also the proud Great-Grandfather of 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 18, at 11:00 am.
