Richard Clyde Holloway Obituary

Richard Clyde Holloway passed away September 12, 2019. He was a loving husband of 45 years to his wife, Brenda Garey Holloway and the most amazing father to Amanda Jamison and Richard C. (Ricky) Holloway. Richard loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. There is not a person he didn't touch in a positive way. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and was an excellent host of family barbeques and get-togethers. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Willian Clyde Holloway, and Marjorie Holloway and his second mother, Mary Jo Garey, who loved him like a son. Richard was hard working and dedicated in everything he did, completing a career with Proctor and Gamble in Memphis, Tennessee before moving to Hot Springs Village in 1992. Richard owned and operated Superior Carpet Cleaning then joined Walmart in Hot Springs Village as a charter employee. He was promoted through the company and completed 15 years of service in March of this year. Left to love and miss him forever are his wife, Brenda; daughter, Amanda (Brent) and her children, Caitlyn and Connor; and son, Ricky and his sons, Tyler and B.J., and their families. Richard was a loving brother to Karen Jolley (Pat) of Hot Springs Village; Patty Holloway of West Palm Beach Florida; and David Holloway of Houston, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Caruth Village Funeral Home Chapel with service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Gilmore officiating. Burial will be at Cedarvale Cemetery, Hot Springs Village.
