Mr. Roy Anderson Neville, Sr. age 98 of Ellijay passed on Friday September 13th, 2019 Mr. Neville was born on October 28th, 1920 in Bradenton, Florida to his late parents, Samuel and Bertha Evans Neville. Roy served his country Honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He was also a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Ann Neville and his son, Jimmy Neville. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday September 21st, 2019 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Min. Butch Jones officiating. Military graveside rites will be performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. He is survived by his Children and in-laws; Tina Neville of Devine, TX , Julia & Kenneth Carpenter of Ellijay, GA, Roy A. & Kathleen Neville, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, David E. Neville of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Mary Voyles, Brittney Neville, Justin Neville, and Beth Ford, great-grandchildren; Brockton Rodriguez and Stevie Hall.; great-great- grandchildren, Brockton Rodriguez, Jr., Justin Rodriguez, and Miah Rodriguez. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ellijay Church of Christ or to the Gates Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of Mr. Neville.
