HANWELL, MARY 90, Northern Cambria, passed away September 13, 2019. Born March 28, 1929, in Elmora, the daughter of Michael and Pearl (Koch) Maslonik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Regis B. Hanwell; son, Alan Hanwell; brothers, George, Nicholas, Michael and John Maslonik; and sisters, Ann Rafalovich and Katherine McCall. Survived by son, Michael Hanwell, Harrisburg; daughter, Beth (Brad) Buterbaugh, Northern Cambria; daughter-in-law, Debbie (Tibbott) Hanwell, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Hillary (Kurt) Michelotti, Emily Hanwell, Sara Boring, Lynn (Graham) Clutter, Evan Boring, Aiden Buterbaugh; and great-grandchildren, Damon, Sidney, Lilly and Jolene. 1948 graduate of John Carroll High School. Mary worked many years as a bookkeeper and seamstress. Member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church where she was an active member who volunteered many years in the kitchen for luncheons and pierogie fundraisers. Family and friends will be received from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Fr. Andriy Kelt officiating. Interment, McDowell Cemetery.
