David Ray Joyner, 56, passed away on Thursday at Wayne UNC Health Care. David was born in Wayne County on October 17, 1962 to Irene Johnson Joyner of Goldsboro and the late Elbert Ray Joyner. He had attended Ray of Hope Church in Goldsboro. David always enjoyed the rodeo circuit with his friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Barry Teague officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday following the service at the cemetery.
