Jane Collier Willey was born July 10, 1938. Jane met her Lord and Savior face to face on September 12, 2019. Family members waiting there to greet her were: daughter, Terry Baker; Mother and Father, Thomas and Janie Bell Ferguson; brothers, Jr. and Mack Ferguson; sister-in-law, Janie Ferguson; and brother-in-law, Revie Gore. She fought a good fight with many health challenges over the last few years. Praise God, no more pain and suffering. Jane is survived by her loving husband Jimmy Willey; daughter, Judy Brewer; grandchildren, Lee (Trish) Baxter, Amanda (Mark) Woods, Robert (Jamie) Baker, and Ashley Doyle; great-grandchildren, Ramie Grace Woods, Audrey Baker, Heather (Justin) Knight, Gage Patricola, and Blake and Drew Doyle; son-in-law, Richard Baker; sister, Fay Gore; sister-in-law, Martha Ferguson; special friends of the family, Melvin Baxter and Calvin Brewer; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; along with her beloved church family at Riverside Baptist Church, where she has been an active member for many years. As well as many dear friends she and Jimmy have gained over their years of ministry. She truly was a supportive helpmate to Jimmy. As the chair of the Social Committee, she loved to organize fellowships and meals at Riverside, even after she wasn’t actually able to do the work, she’d plan and then sit and tell her committee what to do and how to do it. Her passion and heart was the shut-in’s meals on Tuesdays she had started with help of her side-kick, Lois. She had her own unique way of getting others to volunteer, thereby including almost the entire church family. The visitation for Jane will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS with Bro. Tracy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
