Elmer D. Brown, Jr., 84, of Kewanee, died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Allure Nursing Home, Geneseo. Elmer was born August 4, 1935 in Tennessee, the son of Elmer Duane and Belva Irene (Robinson) Brown. Elmer is survived by two children, Bob Brown, Connie Moyer, both of Kewanee; 13 grandchildren, Shawn, Bobby, Eddie, Rose, Billie Jo, JR, Crystal, Duane, Kari, Kaitlynn, Rick, Devan and Shelby; 21 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Florence Fay and Karen Brown; three children, Clarence Brown, Norma Christiansen, DeeDee Ferrell Brown; one grandchild, Amber; and three great grandchildren, Lucas, Dalton, and Sadie. Elmer was a farmer and worked for the railroad during his younger years. He enjoyed watching westerns, doing crossword puzzles, and coloring. He especially loved spending time with his family and having cookouts. Service details will follow.
