Violetta Kos ( nee Orzechowski ), 58, died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at her home. Born in Poland, she lived in Passaic, Garfield and Wallington before moving to Lyndhurst in 1992. She worked as an analyst for Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack for 20 years before retiring 4 years ago. Violetta was the beloved wife of Sylwester Kos ; the devoted mother of Arthur Kos and his wife Toni Ann , and David Kos; the cherished grandmother of Michael and Matthew Kos; the adored daughter of Henryka Orzechowski ( nee Kudlak ) and the late Waldemar Orzechowski;and the loving sister of Ivona Pryka. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Tuesday, September 17th at 9 a.m. thence to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, September 16th from 6-9 p.m.
