Theresa StickleyTheresa Ann Stickley passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on September 11, 2019 at The Lakes of Monclova, Monclova, Ohio. She was born Theresa Ann Meeker on September 1, 1956 to parents, William and Barbara Meeker, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Her family moved to Waterville, Ohio in 1967, Theresa became active in Girl Scouts and spent a good deal of time outdoors, nurturing her love of animals and nature. She graduated from Anthony Wayne in 1974. Theresa moved to a farm in Grand Rapids, Ohio. She enjoyed life in the country, tending her garden and animals. She then moved to Connecticut, where she lived for more than 25 years. Theresa worked in the food industry most of her life. She enjoyed trips with her friends, Marian O’Reilly and Patricia O’Reilly Turitto, to Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island and Eastern Point Beach in Groton. Theresa moved back to Waterville, Ohio in June of 2016. Her quick wit and love of life drew others to her, and she responded with grace and kindness with every person she encountered daily. She fell ill and moved to The Lakes of Monclova in 2018. Our family would like to thank the staff at Lakes of Monclova for the kindness and compassion they extended to Theresa during her stay at this wonderful health facility. She is survived by her sisters, Melissa Bergfeld and Gail Henry, and her brother, Douglas Meeker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Deborah. She is also survived by her best friends, Marian O’Reilly and Patricia O’Reilly Turitto.
