Mary Kimberly Prater Sisk, age 35 of Elkmont, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019. Mrs. Sisk was born November 24, 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Roy Kim and Denise Prater. Funeral Services will be at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Church services will begin at 12:00 noon. The burial will be private for family only. She is survived by her parents, Denise and Roy K. Prater; son, Mason Sisk; sisters, Kathryn “Katie” Prater and Bridget Prater Smith (Frank III); brother, Douglas Joseph Prater; aunt, Lynn Prater; nephew, Frank B. Smith IV. Mrs. Sisk was a fifth-generation teacher in Alabama who taught at Mountain Gap. She was kind, big-hearted, loved children and teaching. She lived for her husband and children.
