BROOKS, Ivy Anna, peacefully at QHC, Belleville General, Ivy went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 30, 2019, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the Late Roy Brooks. Dear mother of Noreen (David) Hadley, and Janice (Judd) Rae, both of Belleville, and Ron (Nancy) Brooks, of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Leah) Davis, Matthew (Diane) Davis, both of Belleville, Aaron (Sabita) Davis, of Ottawa, Kristin (Steve) Ridout, Leanne (Brad) Finney, both of Barrie, Joel (Fiancée Jennifer Stever) Daniels, of Belleville, Nathan (Brielyn) Rae, of Boston, Matthew Rae, of Ottawa, Jason (Angela) Brooks, Michael (Naomi) Brooks, and Jeremy (Julie) Brooks, all of Barrie. Great grandmother of 14. Ivy was the daughter of the Late John and Anna McGuffin. She was predeceased by sons-in-law Dr. Jim Davis and Brent Daniels, grandsons Kerry Daniels and Adam Davis, and great grandson Wade Davis. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville, (613-968-2273). The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 7th, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Steele Funeral Chapel on Saturday, at 2:30 pm. Cremation has already taken place and there will be a private Family Inurnment at Elmwood Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to Gideon Memorial Bibles or Bible League of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
