Born February 27, 1933 in Bluffton Alberta. It is with great sadness that we announce Erwin passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Village of Smith Creek Care Home in West Kelowna on December 10, 2015 at the age of 82. He is survived by his son Wayne, son Greg (Joanne) and daughter Debbie (Dave). He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren: Bradley, Nicole, Ryan, Erin, Crystal, Cole and Tanner, as well as 9 great grandchildren: Ocean, Cassidy, Vienna, Ashton, Isabella, Addison, Kinsey, Lainey and Charley. Erwin was predeceased by his wife Julie, brothers Charles and Raymond, and sister Ida. He was survived by his brother Dan, sisters Ruth and Evelyn. There will be no service at this time. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date in 2016. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at Village of Smith Creek for their care and compassion shown to Hank and our family.
