Delores Virginia Savela Obituary

Delores V. (Lorella) Savela Delores was born on July 7, 1924 in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle also known as “Garlic Gulch,” referring to the Italian population that settled in that neighborhood. She was the first born and much loved beautiful baby girl born to Italian immigrant Louis Lorella and his wife Louise (Grosso) Lorella. Delores passed away in hospice care on December 11th. Her Italian heritage and strong will kept her going strong for 91 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Louis Jr., and granddaughter, Stephanie Louise. Delores is survived by her husband, Milo, brother LeeRoy, daughter Larita (Brent), grandsons Blake (Kayuana) and Collin (Shannon), and 4 great grandchildren Andrew, Cameron, Delilah, and Landon. Delores leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who knew her fondly as “Auntie Betty,” a family nickname. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity. Services will be conducted at Yahn and Son located at 55 West Valley Highway S. in Auburn on Thursday, December 17th at 10 AM. Online guest book at www.yahnandson.com.
