Eolia N. Smith, age 85, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, December 11, 2015, at her home. She was born October 13, 1930, in Blue Rock, daughter of the late Frederick and Eolia Adams Weaver. She served as a senior companion for the Noble County Senior Citizens. Eolia loved to crochet, play word search puzzles and solitare, and she enjoyed watching “Days of our Lives.” In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Mitchell; and three brothers, Bernard, Dale and Freddy Weaver. Surviving are her children, Sandy, Beverly, Mark, and Danny; a half-sister, Rachel “Penny”; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being planned for a later date by Mrs. Smith's niece, Judy Triplett. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
