Carol A. Kell

RENOVO - Carol A. (Bowes) Kell, 62, of E. Renovo passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born November 28, 1953 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late William and June (Myers) Bowes. Carol worked for Highmark Blue Shield in State College and Camp Hill for 35 years. She was a member of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women and Order of Eastern Star. She cherished her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. Carol enjoyed traveling. She also worked at the Renovo Senior Center and the Youth Center. Surviving are a brother Craig (Ceci) Bowes of Farwell and three sisters Pamela Kormanec of E. Renovo, Brenda Grotzinger of Elizabethville and Shari (Glenn) Deavon of Hershey. Five nephews Edward, David, John, Heath and Craig also three nieces Paula, Heather and Janetta. Carol was preceded in death by a nephew Michael and a brother-in-law Ed Kormanec. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo with Pastor Doug Conway officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private at North Bend Cemetery.
