Dorothy A. Tiedeman

LODI-Dorothy A. Tiedeman, age 97, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society-Lodi. She was born on April 27, 1918 in Duluth, Minn. the daughter of Albin and Anna (Lindberg) Anderson. Dorothy married Stanley "Sid" Tiedeman on June 14, 1947 he preceded her in death in 2005. In her youth, Dorothy spent summers in Siren Wisc. and Center City Minn. farms. She was an administrative assistant to the Supreme Court Justice for the State of Wisconsin. After retirement Dorothy and Sid moved to the Lodi area where they had a home on Lake Wisconsin. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Dorothy was always active and enjoyed walking, swimming and quilting. When Dorothy turned 90 she decided to take piano lessons and learned how to play. She mostly loved spending time with friends and family. Dorothy is survived by her nephews and nieces, Thomas Soterakos, Linda Yeck, Barbara Hanjamanole, Albin C. Watson, Carl T. Watson and Carol A. Haddakin. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Mabel Watson and Beatrice Sotiros and a brother, Everett Anderson. Funeral Services will be held at the HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main St., Lodi at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 with Pastor Michael Lee presiding. Burial will be in Garden Bluff Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
