Myrna K. Porter, 73, of Lake Suzy, FL died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.  Cancer took her down, her Lord and Savior took her up.  She was born December 22, 1945, in New Brighton, PA to Edward and Jean Little. Myrna graduated from New Brighton High School (3rd in her Class) in 1963.  She was a graduate of Geneva College, a Reformed Presbyterian College in Pennsylvania with four Degrees, Major in Speech, Minored in English, History, and Psychology In 1967. Myrna worked for Shawnee County Social Welfare Depart. In Topeka, Kansas as a Social Worker 1968-1970, Co-Owner of MasterBuilders Construction Corp. -Bookkeeper and Interior Custom Home Decorator 1978-2019, Worked for MasterRealty Services Inc. -Licensed R.E. Salesman and Bookkeeper 1983-2019, Worked for Consult Engineering Inc. as Bookkeeper 2010-2018, Co-owner of Paulson Centre Executive Office Suites- Bookkeeper 1992-2019 and co-owner of Porter Family Investment LLC 2018-2019.  She also held her Florida Real Estate License from 1983-2019 and was the Director and Treasurer of Lake Suzy Lake Maintenance Corp. from 2012-2019. Myrna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Myrna led her sister, husband, and many others to the Lord Jesus Christ in her life. She attended Beulah Baptist Church in Chicopee, MA – as a Youth Group Leader and Myrna played the Guitar.  She was also active with First Alliance Church in Port Charlotte, FL. - Myrna taught Sunday School 4th & 5th-grade girls for 5 years, ladies Bible Study for 3 years, worked with Pioneer Girls / playing the guitar for 4 years Myrna was Secretary/Treasurer for the Peace River Gideons Auxiliary and held Thursday Night Home Bible Study in her home with Pete for 27 years. Myrna will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, Chester “Pete”; sons Aaron (Tamara); Benjamin; and Joshua (Casie); brother Donald Little; sister Sydna Little; and her six grandchildren Logan, Justus, Madeline, Gabriel, Jackson, and Olivia.  She is preceded in death by her parents. The family will welcome friends at First Baptist Church Port Charlotte, 20035 Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.  Visitation begins at 10:00 am, with a service at 11:00 and burial at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 pm. The family extends an invitation to join them in celebrating the life of Myrna at their home from 5:00-7:00 pm, 12683 SW Kings Row, Lake Suzy, 34269.
