Patricia "Patsy" Dowdy Helton

Patricia “Patsy” Dowdy Helton, 70, of Cairo, Illinois, formerly of Arlington and Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away at 1:50 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Patsy was born on November 5, 1948 in Cairo, Illinois to the late Ervin and Lucille Dowdy. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Krystal “Hope” Crews, and husband, Jason, of Wyatt, Missouri; two brothers, Marvin Louis Dowdy of Paducah and Ervin Ray Dowdy of Barlow; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Frank Helton; a son, William Howard Caudell; one brother, Larry Allen Dowdy and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Larry Frasier and Rev. Gary Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 P.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
