Linda Johansen Bayles
Linda Johansen Bayles, 71, of Hickory passed away on October 31, 2015 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton. Born June 27, 1944 in Suffolk, MA to the late Thomas Johansen and Eleanor Iva Farnham Rock. Linda attended Christ Alive Church in Newton. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and she loved them with all her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Bobby Joe Bayles, brothers; Donald Johansen, Thomas Johansen and Keith Johansen. Those left to cherish her memory are; Son: Robert A. Bayles and wife Carolyn of Colorado Step-Son: Robert J. Bayles of California Daughter: Julie M. Salgvero and husband Vinny of Hickory Brother: David Rock and wife Wendy of Plattsburgh, NY Grandchildren: Felicia Bayles, Brianna Davis, Isabella Salgvero, Vinicio Salgvero, Melissa Greco, Shannon Fletcher, Kelsey Bayles and Jennifer Bender Six Great-Grandchildren A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Christ Alive Church in Newton. Pastor Mark Ivey officiated. The family received friends on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. at Christ Alive Church.
