Glenn Loren Griepentrog

Glenn L. Griepentrog, 61, Elderon, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on March 16, 1954 in Tigerton, the son of the late George and Judy Griepentrog.
On August 22, 1975, Glenn was united in marriage to Lori Suwyn in Wausau. She survives.
Glenn worked at Marathon Electric for 40 years. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching basketball, baseball and especially the Green Bay Packers. Glenn also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Griepentrog, Elderon; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Donna Suwyn, Elderon; sister-in-law, Cindy (Roger) Kielman, Winchester; brother-in-law, Bill Suwyn, Elderon; nieces and nephews, Lacy (Eon) Kielman, Madison, Matthew (Megan) Kielman, ND, Heather (Mike) Suwyn and Kayla (Zack) Suwyn, both of Elderon and great-nieces and nephews, Addie, Evie, McCoy, Trapper, Kolten, Drake and Parker. Glenn is also survived by three brothers, one sister and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by one sister and one niece.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Elderon. Rev. Harvey Abrahamson will officiate. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery, Elderon. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of services at the church.
