Francis Gerald “Jerry” Koger, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away at his residence on October 31, 2015. Jerry was a past partner with Dill, Bond, Plumstead, Young & Koger Certified Public Accountants for 25 years, and was a member of the State Board of Public Accountancy. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Koger; parents, George Noah & Gladys Aline Koger; and one brother, Donald Koger. Jerry is survived by his two children, Francis Gerald “Jerry” Koger, Jr. (Candy) and Daphne K. Massey; two brothers, George Noah Koger, Jr. and Charles David Koger; one sister, Ann Newberry; three grandchildren, Brandon DeWayne Massey, Hannah Lynn Koger and Amber Nicolette Koger; devoted friend and companion, Margie Hester; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mr. Koger’s residence.
