Virginia Dare Gibson age 67 of Athens, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Gibson was born April 21, 1948 in Limestone County, AL to Buford Pylant and Mildred Naves Pylant. Services will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 2:00 p.m., at First Church with Bro. Rick Craft and Bro. Bruce Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Survived by her husband, Mason Gibson III; two sons, Chris Routh and wife, Nina and Stan Routh; 3 grandchildren; one brother, Bud Pylant; three sisters, Betty pepper, Catherine Clark and Evelyn Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pallbearers will be Marty Pylant, Jeff Pylant, Brandon Pylant, Jordon Miller, Cody Usery and Dylan Pylant. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Clark, Barry Pylant, Mike Pylant and Terry Pylant.
