It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosa Biviera on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Deerwood Creek Care Community with her loving family by her side. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Domenico Biviera. Adored and loving mother of Dina (Vince) and Pina Ross. Cherished and very special Nonna of Daniella (Andrew), Cassandra, Ryan (Laurie), Kyle and Brandon. She will be deeply missed by her dear brothers, sisters, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Rosa was a seamstress back home in Reggio Calabria, Italy, but her most significant role in life was as a homemaker. Rosa’s greatest joy was her family. She found joy in cooking delicious meals for them and was proud of her homemade lasagna. Her passion for gardening and dedication to her family will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all. The family would like to thank the staff at Deerwood Creek Care Community for the care and compassion for both her and her husband’s stay. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Following service entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
