CROOK, MARY SUE Mary Sue Crook, age 83, of Crawford died Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at a local nursing facility. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Friday, February 14 at Waco Memorial North with Rev. Gene Grace officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, February 13 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Crook was born October 24, 1919, in Waco, to John and Mary Losak. She married Roy O. Crook on April 12, 1940. She went to work at Southwestern Bell shortly after high school and retired from there in 1986, after 45 years of service. She was a long time member of Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Crook is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy O. Crook; sons, Clark R. Crook and wife, Karan of China Spring and Roy O. Crook, Jr. and wife, Bonnie of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Claire Freedman, Beau Crook, C. J. Crook, and Roger Price, all of the Waco area, and Jeff Crook and Amy Crook of Cincinnati, great grandchildren, Kyndall Freedman, Destiny Price, and Ty Commander; sisters, Olga Urban of Waco and Mildred Beard of Port Neches.
