Glen Lein Broman

Glen L. Broman, 97, of Bremerton, WA, passed away on Aug. 9, 2019. He was born on Feb. 22, 1922, in Andover, SD. He was in the United States Navy from 1942-1946 and served on the U.S.S. San Jacinto during WWII. After the war, he met Angeline Johnson of Aberdeen, SD. They were married on June 2, 1946 and moved to Bremerton shortly thereafter. Glen worked as an electronics technician at Keyport Naval Torpedo Station until he retired. He was preceded in death by twin brothers Burton and Harold, his parents, Leonard Broman, Sr., and Lillian Broman (Wennerstrom) of Groton, SD, his wife Angeline, and his daughter Sheila Long, and son-in-law Greg Wilson. He had a twin brother, Leonard Broman, who passed away just nine days after Glen. He is survived by daughter Brenda Wilson, son-in-law Robert Long, grandchildren Melia Wilson (husband Frank), Jennifer Henderson (husband Ron), Kerri Lutterloh (husband Joel), Shawna Wilson, and niece Stacy Sauvageau. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Cameron Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Caleb Scott, Tanner Scott, Lily Henderson and Landry Henderson. Glen and Angie enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, AZ, and many summer days at their recreational property in Seabeck, WA. He also enjoyed spending time on his ham radio and at the Elks Lodge. At Glen’s request, there will be no service.
