Ryan Patrick Reber, 32, passed away on August 18, 2019 in Lake Worth, FL. Ryan was born in Rahway, and resided in Clark, NJ. At age 11 Ryan moved to Westfield. He attended Westfield Senior High School and was a talented member of the Westfield High School Marching Band. This sparked his interest in music and lead him to play many shows with his high school Ska band “The Mafia”. After high school Ryan attended Monmouth University. His amazing personality and powerful voice lead Ryan to discover his passion for radio. He joined WMCX and hosted a show and held an executive position on their staff. Later on, Ryan moved to Lake Worth, FL where he made many friendships and partnerships. Ryan was a talented self-taught internet marketing guru with a wide range of expertise from website design to SEO, if you needed it, he could do it. He helped start his company Responsive Gorilla and then went on to work for Rush Tech Designs. Most recently he was working on the internet marketing for a company, Gate House, helping to bring them to the top. Ryan also had many passions including walks on the beach, fishing, food, video games and taking care of his little man Croney. Ryan is predeceased by his father James C. Reber, his grandmother Eleanor Ryan, his grandparents Matthew and Rose Russo and his uncle William Ryan III. He is survived by his loving parents Susan and Matthew G. Russo Jr., his brother James C. Reber Jr., his sister Mariah Russo, his grandfather William Ryan Jr., and his loving companion Croney. Ryan is also survived by many aunts and uncles including Stephanie and Steve Walters, Mary and David Ganz, Donna Nunez, Patricia Russo, David and Cathy Russo, and Vincent and Christine Russo, along with his 11 cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Sunday, August 25th, from 4-8pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West, in Cranford.. The funeral 9 AM Monday from the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, August 26th at 10 am at St. John the Apostle Church, 1805 Penbrook Terrace, Linden, NJ 07036. Interment will follow Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center or St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
