Pearline Packwood Obituary

Pearline Packwood, of Wenatchee, WA, was born April 3, 1925, and died August 18, 2019, at the age of 94. Pearline was loved by a huge extended family which included four children; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Pearline moved, as a young woman, to Wenatchee, where she resided for over 70 years. Five of her eight siblings settled in Wenatchee, too. Pearline and her husband, Don Packwood, (deceased in 1994) owned and operated a small fruit orchard for many years. Pearline retired from selling Avon at the age of 92, after a 50-year career with the company. Pearline was devoted to her church and when asked to tell about herself, the first thing she said is, “I am a Christian”. She loved her family, friends, fishing, beautiful flowers, being warm, and her dog, Mitsy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Nazarene Church, 1011 S. Miller St., Wenatchee, WA, on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow at the church. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Valley, Wenatchee, WA.
