Doris Young O’Brien a lifelong resident of New Rochelle passed away on July 18, 2019 at the age of 102.She was born to Walter Halsey Young and Lola Robinson Young in New Rochelle, New York on July 6, 1917. She attended New Rochelle schools and graduated from Skidmore College.She was predeceased by her husbands Joseph T. Bradbury Jr., William P. Weeks and Edward G. O’Brien.She is survived by her son Joseph T. Bradbury Jr. and his wife, Leslie, grandchildren Scott and Sarah Bradbury, and great-granddaughter Harper Bradbury. Also several nieces and nephews. She was a founder and past president of the Westchester Contract Bridge Association, and for many years a bridge teacher and director. She was a member of the New Rochelle Art Association, the Manor Club of Pelham and the Garden Club of New Rochelle. She Enjoyed watercolor painting and exhibited in many shows. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 24th at 11:00 AM at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont.
